Long-Haul Ticket Prices Surge Sharply

According to data shared by Bloomberg, ticket prices on some long-haul international routes increased significantly in March compared to February.

➡️ The sharp rise, particularly on Asia–Europe routes, signals that passengers may face much higher fares ahead of the summer season.

➡️ Data shows that fares on the Bangkok–Frankfurt route climbed from $474 to $2,870, while Hong Kong–London increased from $503 to $3,318. On the Sydney–London route, prices rose from $733 to $3,875.

➡️ The trend indicates that rising costs, largely driven by Middle East-related factors, are now being strongly reflected in global air travel pricing.
